The Twin-Stud Wall Box (WB27) is engineered to provide design professionals with a versatile in-wall solution for mounting a variety of equipment throughout their projects. This innovative concept can house AV equipment directly behind a display in living rooms or bedrooms, be deployed in plant rooms to accommodate Lutron modules for powering and controlling lighting and shading systems, or house up to 2U of networking equipment in a space-efficient, vertically stacked configuration.
This streamlines infrastructure and planning for smart environments as the WB27 only requires a single, consistently sized aperture regardless of the desired configuration. A variety of preconfigured mounting points accommodate a wide range of equipment with knockouts for power or cable entry to achieve neat and logical cable management regardless of configuration.
In its AV configuration, the WB27 pairs perfectly with both the regular and slim versions of the Samsung One Connect Box. When combined with our award-winning PS (pull and swivel) manual articulating wall mount, it enables flush mounting of displays against the wall.
The DIN configuration includes trunking and pre-installed DIN rail to mount various Lutron modules. This compact enclosure is ideally suited for hotels and MDUs, where the WB27 can be discreetly installed out of sight in a dedicated cabinet to control lighting and motorized shading for a space.
The networking configuration allows for up to 2U of networking equipment to be stacked vertically inside the enclosure. Dedicated mounting brackets for network switches and keystone patch panels enable up to 48 ports to be neatly cable-managed within the enclosure.
