ABOUT THE ROLE
We are based at 2 sites in the UK, and therefore have 2 distinct programmes to provide varied experiences based on your area of interest:
Bedford, Bedfordshire
- Sheet metal work including fabrication processes: Laser cutting, CNC punch, break press, welding, folding and powder coat painting
- Control panel wiring and building
- Motorised mechanism assembly
- Manual mechanism assembly
- General warehouse experience in shipping/ receiving, packing and returns
Kimpton, Hertfordshire
- Machineshop - parts production from raw materials using CNC mills, lathes, manual and drill press
- Electronic programming, circuit design and assembly
- Mechanism assembly
- Product design, research and development using CAD
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Depending on which site you attend your experience will vary, but primarily our goal is to provide you with a broad overview to our business and business functions.
You will join various teams and assist with daily tasks that contribute to our daily processes.
You may also be involved in special projects, requiring data processing, presentations or problem- solving.
You will be joining our team and expected to integrate with others well to ensure the work is done. We offer a busy and friendly work environment and endeavour
to ensure a high growth learning experience.

REPORTING TO
Department team lead and Operations Director
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read, interpret and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble products
- Use of handheld tools such as a hand-held screw and drill gun
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring and motors
- Maintain inventory of product and parts in work stations
- Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
- Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in the use of hand tools
- Enthusiasm and interest in engineering and manufacturing.
- Knowledge of materials, ability to distinguish types
- Previous experience in manufacturing/ engineering environment advantageous

This site is now home to our Design, Workshop, HR and Accounts teams.

Stevenage is home to our assembly team along with our IT and purchasing departments.
We also prepare our products for shipping from this location.

DOVER
Covering Northern America, our team in Dover are responsible for customer relationship management and sales along with technical assistance.
